The Alexandria City Council will participate in a planning retreat Saturday, January 29 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., to develop a 2022 annual City Council work program. The meeting will be held at Building Momentum (5380 Eisenhower Ave.), and may be attended virtually or in person. The meeting is available for viewing only and will not contain a public comment period. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, in-person attendees are required to wear masks.
The facilitated workshop will include staff presentations and exercises for City Council to use to establish goals, set priorities and prioritize initiatives. Once approved, the City Council work program will serve as a “living document” and is subject to periodic amendment.
