[Archived] Alexandria Police Department Investigates Shooting on Four Mile Road (UPDATE)

UPDATE (10/18/2021): Alexandria Police officers arrested a 17-year-old male on Friday, October 15, 2021, in connection with the October 10th shooting.  He was charged with Malicious Wounding, Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony, and Possession of a Firearm by a Juvenile.  He is being held at the Northern Virginia Juvenile Detention Center.

Alexandria Police Department Investigates Shooting on Four Mile Road

Alexandria, VA – The Alexandria Police Department is actively investigating a shooting that occurred on Sunday, October 10, 2021, at the Park Vue of Alexandria Apartments in the 500 block of Four Mile Road.

Officers responding to a report of a shooting at approximately 11:50 a.m., discovered a juvenile male with a gunshot wound to the upper body.  The suspect fled the scene before police arrived.  The victim was taken to the hospital.  His injuries are not life-threatening.
