Alexandria Police Department Arrests Student with Weapon at Alexandria City High School

– The Alexandria Police Department arrested a student with a weapon at
Alexandria City High School on Wednesday, October 6, 2021.
Alexandria City High School administrators notified the Alexandria Police Department around 9:15 a.m. about a juvenile male student possibly in possession of a weapon. Police and school administrators worked together to locate the student who was detained at the school entrance. A handgun was recovered. The student was arrested and charged with Possession of a Firearm on School Property.
