[Archived] City to Host Centipede Dragon Story Celebration Story Walk at Holmes Run Park Trail

For Immediate Release: October 5, 2021 

The City of Alexandria Department of Recreation Parks & Cultural Activities (RPCA) in partnership with Alexandria Library is proud to present “Centipede Dragon Story Celebration” Story Walk at Holmes Run Park trail on Sunday, October 10 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Come and enjoy a live reading of the story “Centipede Dragon,” live performances by Wong People Kung Ku, Arts & Crafts, and much more!  Please bring something to sit on for the reading of the story.

The event will be located at the intersection of North Pelham & Holmes Run Park. Street Parking is available but parking at the Beatley Central Library is encouraged. The event is just a short walk across the bridge.

The story walk will remain visible for the community to continue to enjoy!
