[Archived] Police Investigate Sudden Death

For Immediate Release: September 17, 2019 

The Alexandria Police Department is conducting a sudden death investigation in the 1200 block of North Beauregard Street on Tuesday, September 17.

At approximately 9:22 a.m., a passerby located the victim in Holmes Run. Upon arriving, officers located an adult male identified as Jose Mendez Padilla, 49, of Alexandria. The victim was taken to the office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the cause and manner of death.
