The Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities (RPCA) is hosting a Job Fair on Saturday, August 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Patrick Henry Recreation Center (4653 Taney Ave.). 

Do you know someone with a passion for working with children? How about a personable professional who delivers exceptional customer service? Have you come across a leader with a drive to share their interests and talents with others? RPCA is seeking qualified and dedicated professionals to deliver high-quality services and programs.

On-site interviews will be conducted for afterschool leaders, program instructors, front desk clerks, personal trainers, sports monitors and lifeguards. Hours and schedules vary by position. To participate, interested candidates should submit an application at alexandriava.gov/Jobs, then bring government issued identification and proof of any applicable certifications to the Job Fair. Interviews will take place continuously throughout the event. Please submit an application by 5 p.m. on Friday, August 23. Bilingual capability is a plus.
