[Archived] Delayed Opening of Rixse Indoor Pool and Memorial Outdoor Pool

For Immediate Release: July 18, 2019

Due to prolonged power outage caused by the storm on July 17, Rixse Pool at Chinquapin Park Recreation Center & Aquatics Facility (3210 King St.) and Memorial Pool at Charles Houston Recreation Center (901 Wythe St.) will open late on Thursday, July 18. All aquatics classes scheduled to begin before 1 p.m. are cancelled

Please visit alexandriava.gov/Aquatics for updates about the delayed opening time. Old Town Pool (1609 Cameron St.) and Warwick Pool (3301 Landover St.) will open to the public as scheduled.
