[Archived] Notice of Public Hearing: Mental Health, Developmental Disability, Substance Use Treatment Services

For Immediate Release: April 24, 2019

The Alexandria Community Services Board is holding a public hearing to receive comment on the needs of Alexandrians with mental illness, developmental disability or a substance use dependency, and on the proposed Plan of Services (Performance Contract), available at www.alexandriava.gov/DCHS

The hearing will be held Thursday, May 9 at 6:30 p.m. at 720 North Saint Asaph Street, Alexandria, VA 22314.

The CSB is a group of 12 volunteers appointed by the City Council to oversee publicly funded services for Alexandrians with a mental illness, developmental disability or a substance use dependency. CSB policies and programs are implemented and managed by the City’s Department of Community and Human Services.
