[Archived] City to Hold Four Mile Run Park Wetlands Bridge Pre-Construction Meeting on April 30

The Department of Recreation, Parks & Cultural Activities will hold a pre-construction meeting Tuesday, April 30 at 7 p.m. The meeting will begin at the Four Mile Run Park Commonwealth Avenue parking lot (3700 Commonwealth Ave.) and will proceed to the bridge location where staff and City  contractors will be available to answer community questions.

The City will install a pedestrian bridge over the Four Mile Run tributary to connect the reestablished wetlands to the ballfields. The bridge will  provide a continuous loop through the park and extend the City's bike and pedestrian trail system. The project will begin in May 2019 with completion in late fall 2019.
