[Archived] Postponed: City of Alexandria Community Meeting on the Oakville Triangle & Route 1 Corridor Vision Plan Update

For Immediate Release: March 28, 2019

The April 1 community meeting planned for the Oakville Triangle & Route 1 Corridor Vision Plan Update for the Virginia Tech Innovation Campus has been postponed. In the course of planning for the meeting, Virginia Tech realized that the complexity of the planning for the Innovation Campus requires additional time to prepare materials for a meaningful and productive community meeting. Virginia Tech is continuing to conduct due diligence on the real estate for the campus. Both the City of Alexandria and Virginia Tech recognize and welcome the community’s interest and look forward to coming together to talk about the vision and the planning for this important project for the city.

For more information about Virginia Tech’s planned Innovation Campus, visit the City’s National Landing webpage.
