[Archived] City of Alexandria Office of the Arts Accepting FY 2020 Arts Program Grant Applications

The City of Alexandria’s Office of the Arts is accepting applications for Arts Grants Program through Friday, March 29, 2019. Grant funds are available to eligible arts organizations for operating support and that occur in the City of Alexandria from July 1, 2019 and June 30, 2020. All grants require a 1:1 cash match. Online application forms, instructions, and frequently asked questions for the Arts Grant Program are online at www.alexandriava.gov/Arts.

The Office of the Arts will conduct a series of Grant Workshops and Webinars to assist interested applicants in preparing their grant applications.  New applicants or arts organizations who have not submitted an application in the past 2 years are required to attend. Due to changes in the granting process, other applicants are urged to attend these free workshops and webinars.

• Lee Center, 1108 Jefferson St.
  
  • Thursday, February 7 at 6 p.m.
    
  • Monday, February 25 at 7 p.m. 
    
  • Wednesday, March 6 at 7 p.m. 
    
  • Friday, March 15 at 11 a.m. 
• Durant Arts Center, 1605 Cameron St.
  
  • Tuesday, February 12 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Registration for the webinars is required.  Login information will be sent upon registration.

Completed online grant applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2019. Only online grant applications will be accepted.
