[Archived] Alexandria City Council to Hold Planning Retreat on Saturday, January 26

The Alexandria City Council will participate in a planning retreat on Saturday, January 26, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the new Patrick Henry Recreation Center (4653 Taney Ave), to develop an annual work program for City Council for 2019. The facilitated workshop will include staff presentations and exercises for City Council to establish goals, set priorities and prioritize initiatives.

Once approved, the City Council Work Program will serve as a “living document” for City Council and is subject to periodic amendment.

The meeting is open to the public and attendees should note that the new Patrick Henry Recreation Center is still under construction and is difficult to see from the street. Use the parking and access map to identify parking locations and learn how to access the building.
