[Archived] Listening Session to Highlight Four-Year Plan for Aging Services

The Virginia Commonwealth Council on Aging and the Alexandria Division for Aging and Adult Services will hold a Listening Session on the Four-Year Plan for Aging Services 2019-2023 on Monday, Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. to Noon, in City Hall Council Chambers, 301 King St., Alexandria.

There will be a livestream available at livestream.com/AlexandriaVAGov. The purpose of the Listening Session is to receive comments on the following topics:

Those wishing to speak for three minutes can register at Alexandria City Hall starting at 9 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 22. Speakers will be taken in the order of registration and are encouraged to provide a written copy of their comments. Pre-registration for speaking order will not be possible. Each person may register only one speaker at a time.

To sign up in advance to attend the Listening Session, call 703.746.5999 or email DAAS@alexandriava.gov to give the planners an estimate of the number of people expected to attend. Those unable to attend may comment in writing by Nov. 30 to Amy Marschean, senior policy analyst, Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services, 1610 Forest Ave., Ste. 100, Henrico, Virginia 23229 or email Amy.Marschean@dars.virginia.gov.
