The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on Friday, July 13, 2018, in the 1200 block of King Street.
At approximately 11:49 a.m., police were dispatched to a call about a suspicious death. Upon arriving, officers located an adult male inside a business who was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A 34-year-old male has been charged with Murder and is being held without bond in the Alexandria Detention Center.
More information regarding the identity of the victim and the suspect will be released pending notification of the next of kin. This investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Detective Loren King at 703.746.6689.
This is the second homicide in Alexandria this year.
