[Archived] Symphony Orchestra of Northern Virginia Friday Evening Chamber Concert Series

The Symphony Orchestra of Northern Virginia in collaboration with the Office of the Arts offers a Friday Evening Chamber Concert Series at the Durant Arts Center, 1605 Cameron St.  Concerts begin at 7:30 p.m.  Treat yourself to some of the best chamber music the region has to offer, at an affordable price, in a convenient location. 

For the final Friday, June 8 Evening Chamber Music Series concert of the Durant Arts Center season, Maestro Dokken will lecture and perform on the Great American Song Book, playing, singing, and speaking about the songs you all know love.  Early 20th century American music helped shape the framework of not just American music, but American society itself. The evening will be part lecture, part concert, all entertainment.
