For Immediate Release: April 5, 2018
The Office of the Arts in collaboration with the National Capital Puppetry Guild, a 501(c) 3 nonprofit charitable organization, will launch a series of monthly family-friendly puppet shows at the Durant Arts Center. Puppets and More shows are especially enjoyed by the very youngest of audiences, so toddlers are welcome.
Sandy Feulner’s Puppets and More has been entertaining young audiences for over 30 years. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, her love affair with puppetry comes from her first exposure to Kermit the Frog and this greatly influenced her style as she worked with children. She has a B.S. in Elementary Education from Ohio University.
Reservations per show are $5 for all ages. Children must be accompanied by at least one adult. To purchase tickets online, visit www.alexandriava.gov/webtrac and select the activity number.
