[Archived] Police Investigate Fatal Crash on King Street

For Immediate Release

The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a traffic crash that occurred on Friday, March 30, 2018, in the 4300 block of King Street.

At approximately 2:37 a.m., police responded to the area for a single vehicle crash. Initial investigation indicates Victor Fugitt, a 34-year-old from Haymarket, was driving a motorcycle eastbound on King Street when he struck a light pole. He died at the scene of the crash.

Members of the Criminal Investigations Section and Crash Reconstruction Team are investigating the collision. The investigation is ongoing. Alexandria Police ask that witnesses or people with information regarding this incident contact Detective Loren King at 703.746.6689.
