[Archived] Alexandria Officer Arrested on Domestic Violence Charges

The Alexandria Police Department placed an officer on administrative leave and removed his police powers on March 16, 2018, related to his arrest for serious crimes associated with domestic violence.

The Alexandria Police Department began investigating Khurram Chaudhary, 31, of Woodbridge, a nearly four year veteran of the Alexandria Police Department on an internal complaint last week when these domestic violence allegations came to light. Staff immediately contacted Prince William County Police to conduct a concurrent criminal investigation with Alexandria detectives. The Alexandria investigation is ongoing.

Chaudhary was arrested for Rape, Malicious Wounding with a Caustic Substance and Assault and Battery by the Prince William County Police Department on March 16, 2018.
