The National Capital Puppetry Guild and the Office of the Arts will present the 2nd Annual “Celebrate the World Day of
Puppetry” on Saturday, March 24 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Durant Arts
Center, 1605 Cameron St. Doors open at 9 a.m.
The World Day of Puppetry will offer family-oriented puppet
performances, hands-on workshops, exhibits and sales tables. Nine puppetry performances will feature Bob
Brown Puppets, Dinorock, Silly Goose and Val, Goodlife Theater, and more!
Admission tickets are $5 per person. To register online,

Other activities include hands-on puppet-making workshops
for families. Reservations are required. Children must be
accompanied by at least one adult.
