[Archived] 2nd Annual Celebrate the World Day of Puppetry Saturday, March 24

The National Capital Puppetry Guild and the Office of the Arts will present the 2nd Annual “Celebrate the World Day of Puppetry” on Saturday, March 24 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Durant Arts Center, 1605 Cameron St. Doors open at 9 a.m. 

The World Day of Puppetry will offer family-oriented puppet performances, hands-on workshops, exhibits and sales tables.  Nine puppetry performances will feature Bob Brown Puppets, Dinorock, Silly Goose and Val, Goodlife Theater, and more!

Admission tickets are $5 per person. To register online, visit https://tinyurl.com/yanhthg7. Tickets are also available at the door.

Other activities include hands-on puppet-making workshops for families. Reservations are required. Children must be accompanied by at least one adult.
