[Archived] Alexandria Police Update Sexual Assault Investigation

Alexandria Police Detectives have identified the suspect in the sexual assault that occurred in the 5800 block of Quantrell Avenue on January 27, 2018. There are outstanding warrants for the suspect, and the Police Department will update the community when the suspect has been apprehended.
 
During the course of investigation, detectives determined the suspect was known to the victim. This sexual assault was not random in nature.
