[Archived] Police Arrest Man for Robbery at Burke & Herbert Bank on Monroe Avenue

The Alexandria Police Department has made an arrest in a robbery that occurred at the Burke & Herbert Bank located at 306 E. Monroe Avenue.

On Friday, November 3, 2017, at 1:05 p.m., a man entered the bank and demanded money from a bank teller. The teller complied and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no injuries.

Jerry Blake, Jr., 34, City resident, was arrested on November 14, 2017, and charged with Robbery. He is being held without bond.
