[Archived] Police Investigate Robbery at Burke & Herbert Bank on Monroe Avenue

The Alexandria Police Department is investigating the robbery of a Burke & Herbert Bank located at 306 E. Monroe Avenue. On Friday, November 3, 2017, at 1:05 p.m., a man entered the bank and demanded money from a bank teller. The teller complied and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no injuries.
 
The suspect is described as a short black male with a medium build and full beard. He was wearing a light gray hooded-sweatshirt, dark pants, a blue bandana, dark colored shoes and sunglasses. 

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the identification, arrest and conviction of this bank robber.
