George Winstead has been found and is receiving assistance. 

MISSING: George Winstead

For immediate release

The Alexandria Police Department is asking for your assistance locating Walter “George” Winstead. He was last seen in the Del Ray neighborhood at 7:45 a.m. August 28, 2017. His vehicle was located in the Rose Hill Shopping Center in the Alexandria area of Fairfax County on August 29, 2017.

Mr. Winstead is a 49-year-old white male, 6", 180 lbs. with brown hair and grey eyes. He was last seen wearing a yellow t-shirt, light colored shorts and dark colored shoes. Mr. Winstead’s family is concerned about his welfare, and believes he needs assistance which qualifies him as being endangered.
