During a press conference today, Alexandria Chief of Police Michael L. Brown released the names of three Alexandria Police Officers that engaged the active shooter at the Monroe Avenue shooting scene on Wednesday, June 14, 2017. The officers who responded are Officer Battaglia with a year and a half of service with Alexandria Police Department, Officer Jensen with two years of service, and Officer Jobe with 16 years of service.
