The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred in the 200 block of Bluestone Road on May 13, 2017. One of the victims succumbed to his injuries on Sunday, May 14, 2017. The victim has been identified as Desmond A. Roseboro, 28, of Alexandria

This is the first homicide in Alexandria this year.
Police Investigate Shooting at Hotel on Bluestone Road
The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred in the 200 block of Bluestone Road on Saturday, May 13, 2017.
At approximately 2:18 a.m. officers were dispatched to a “shots fired” call at a hotel. Officers located three injured adults at the scene. A 28-year-old man was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. A 21-year-old woman and a 35 year-old woman were transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
