[Archived] City of Alexandria Calls for Nominations to the Ad Hoc Joint City-Schools Facility Investment Task Force

On May 4, the Alexandria City Council adopted Resolution 2775, establishing the Ad Hoc Joint City-Schools Facility Investment Task Force to oversee development of a Joint City-Schools Facility Capital Improvement Plan and provide recommendations related to further capital project implementation. The total funding contemplated for City and School facilities is approximately $700 million.

With that action, nominations are being sought to fill the Task Force seats in fields of expertise related to capital project planning and delivery. Information about the Task Force and the proposed planning process can be found on the project webpage. Please note that the preferred filing date for applications is Monday, May 15, by 5 p.m.

The Task Force is expected to convene for one to two meetings in June 2017, and then hold biweekly meetings from September to December 2017. All Task Force meetings will be open to the public.
