The City's annual Spring Cleanup program, which assists in collecting residential bulky items, begins on Saturday, April 22. Residents who receive City refuse collection services are encouraged to participate in the program, which takes place on four consecutive Saturdays in April and May.
Residents can place unwanted household clutter, bulky trash and metal items at the curb on their area’s collection date:
Area 1: Saturday, April 22
Area 2: Saturday, April 29
Area 3: Saturday, May 6
Area 4: Saturday, May 13
To find your collection area date and view a list of eligible materials for collection, visit the City’s Spring Cleanup page.
Place materials at the curb (no alley pickup) before 6 a.m. on your assigned collection day.
Separate items into four piles:
For employee safety and ease of collection, please remove sharp items.
Ineligible items include concrete, hazardous waste, and building materials.
Hazardous materials may be taken to the City’s Household Hazardous Waste & Electronics Recycling Center, located at 3224 Colvin St. The Center is open every Monday and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
