The Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities will host the RecExpo on Saturday, April 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 pm. at the Mount Vernon Recreation Center, 2701 Commonwealth Ave. RecExpo is an explosion of fun for the whole family, representing Aquatics, Exercise & Fitness, Sports, Enrichment, Creative & Performing Arts, Environmental Education, Out of School Time (OSTP) and Summer Camp programs.
Wish you could test out a program before registering? Take part in free demos and clinics, meet instructors and center staff, and register for programs and camps on-site. Enjoy free face painting, a moon bounce, balloon art, live animal demonstrations, raffles and hands-on art projects with Mobile Art Lab. Participate in the RecExpo ‘Passport to Fun’ to win a prize. Plus, the first 100 to register for a summer camp on-site during RecExpo will receive a free gift. Food trucks will offer food for sale on-site. Admission and all activities are free.
