[Archived] Police Arrest Man for Robbery at Wells Fargo Bank on King Street

The Alexandria Police Department has made an arrest in a robbery that occurred at the Wells Fargo Bank located at 3624 King Street on December 16, 2016.

On Friday, December 16, at 2:05 p.m., a man entered the bank, passed the teller a note, and implied that he had a weapon. He demanded money, the teller complied and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no injuries.

Lamont Sellers, 46, of Alexandria, was arrested on March 16, 2017 and charged with Robbery, Threats to Bomb, and False Summoning of Law Enforcement. He is being held without bond.
