[Archived] Alexandria Police Investigate Robbery Series

The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a series of commercial robberies that occurred during November and December of this year. Two suspects have robbed four 7-Eleven convenience stores in Alexandria and appear to be connected to several additional robberies in Fairfax County, Prince George’s County and Bladensburg, MD. 
 
The two suspects are described as black males. One is approximately 5’7” tall with a slim build, and the other is approximately 6’ tall with a slim build. During each of the following robberies in Alexandria they wore masks and brandished a firearm while demanding cash and/or cigarettes from store employees. No one has been injured.
 
     • November 16, 2016, 11:24 p.m.- 800 Franklin Street
     • November 22, 2016, 9:35 p.m.- 3023 Duke Street 
     • December 7, 2016, 12:01 a.m.- 2002 Eisenhower Avenue 
     • December 13, 2016, 10:01 p.m.- 30 S. Reynolds Street 
 
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the identification, arrest, and conviction of these criminals.
