[Archived] Police Investigate Homicide on Colonial Avenue

The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred in the 1200 block of Colonial Avenue on Wednesday, November 30, 2016.
 
At approximately 9:24 p.m., officers responded to the area to investigate a report of “shots fired”. A man was located by police suffering from trauma to the upper body. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim is a 41-year-old male non-City resident. His name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The investigation is ongoing.
