[Archived] Police Investigate Robbery at Wells Fargo Bank at N. Washington Street

The Alexandria Police Department is investigating the robbery of a Wells Fargo Bank located at 330 N. Washington Street. On Thursday, November 17, at 10:50 a.m., a man entered the bank and displayed a handgun. He demanded money, the teller complied and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no injuries.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’9” tall with a medium build. He was wearing a black baseball cap, sunglasses and a black coat.
