[Archived] Park & Recreation Commission to Hold Public Hearing on NVRPA Lease Agreement & Braddock Park

The Park and Recreation Commission will hold a public hearing to receive comment on the Lease Agreement between the City of Alexandria and the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority (NVRPA) for Cameron Run Regional Park, and on the Braddock Park Concept Plan on Thursday, June 23, 2016, 7 p.m., at the Charles Houston Community Center, 901 Wythe St. After the public hearing, the Commission will hold its regular monthly meeting.

City Council will hold a Public Hearing on the Lease Agreement between the City of Alexandria and the NVRPA for Cameron Run Regional Park on Saturday, June 18 beginning at 9:30 a.m. For additional information, visit the City Council Docket for June 18, 2016.

In addition, the Commission will receive comment on the Braddock Park Concept Plan, 600 N. Henry St. For additional information, view the Braddock Park Concept Plan.

Individuals unable to attend the Public Hearing are encouraged to send written comments by 3 p.m. Thursday, June 23 to Jack Browand by email at Jack.Browand@alexandriava.gov or standard mail to RPCA, Attn: Jack Browand, 1108 Jefferson St., Alexandria VA 22314. All comments received by June 23 will be forwarded to the Park & Recreation Commission for consideration.
