[Archived] Alexandria Police Make Arrest in Bank Robbery Series

The Police Department has made an arrest in a series of bank robberies that occurred in Alexandria during April of this year.

Budder Khan, 26, of Arlington, was arrested on May 12, 2016, for two counts of Robbery. Khan with the robbery of the following banks:
     • April 18, 2016-Sun Trust at 2809 Mount Vernon Avenue
     • April 28, 2016-Wells Fargo Bank at 1711 Fern Street

The Alexandria Police Department thanks the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Arlington County police Department for their assistance in arresting the suspect.
