[Archived] UPDATE: Police Identify Victim in Stabbing on Lincolnia Road

The victim has been identified as Shakeel Baldon, 43, of Alexandria. This incident is being investigated as a homicide.

This is second homicide in Alexandria in 2016.

Police Investigate Fatal Stabbing on Lincolnia Road

The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a stabbing that occurred in the 6100 block of Lincolnia Road on Thursday, May 5, 2016. 

At approximately 9:36 p.m. officers responded to the area for an injured person. The adult male victim was located by police suffering from upper body trauma. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he later died. The investigation is ongoing.

The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
