[Archived] City of Alexandria Invites Public Input on the Interim Fitzgerald Square Project

The Waterfront Small Area Plan, approved in June 2014, envisions a new public plaza at the foot of King Street called Fitzgerald Square. In anticipation of the Old Dominion Boat Club’s pending move to Prince Street, the City is working to develop an approach to open the space to the public following the Boat Club’s move.

Join the conversation and provide input on the Interim Fitzgerald Square project online  through AlexEngage, the City’s online forum for civic engagement.  Input will be accepted through Sunday, April 3.

Additional opportunities to provide feedback will be available at www.alexandriava.gov/Waterfront.

For media inquiries about the City of Alexandria’s role in this exercise, contact Andrea Blackford, Senior Communications Officer, at andrea.blackford@alexandriava.gov or 703.746.3959.
