[Archived] Alexandria Police Arrest Two After Bank Robbery

For Immediate Release: December 1, 2015

The Alexandria Police Department has made two arrests in a robbery that occurred at the PNC Bank in the 800 block of N. Washington Street this morning.
 
Around 9:58 a.m. on Tuesday, December 1, 2015, two suspects entered the bank and each brandished a handgun. The suspects demanded money before leaving the bank. No one was injured. The suspects were subsequently apprehended by Alexandria Police Officers in the 2400 block of Mainline Boulevard.

Maurice Womack, 40, a City resident, was charged with Robbery. Darrell Waller, 40, a City resident, was charged with Robbery and Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony.
