[Archived] Police Arrest Two for Grocery Store Bomb Threats

The Alexandria Police Department has made two arrests in a series of bomb threats targeting the Harris Teeter grocery store located at 735 N. St. Asaph Street between April 30 and July 20, 2015. The Harris Teeter received five bomb threats and evacuated their customers for each occurrence.
 
Dewayne Ishmell, 37, of Washington D.C., was charged with two counts of Threats to Bomb. Melvin Kelly, 36, of Arlington, was charged with Soliciting Another to Communicate Threats to Bomb. They were both arrested on September 11, 2015.
