[Archived] Hume Springs Park Construction to Begin Week of August 24

For Immediate Release: August 17, 2015

The Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities will begin construction the week of August 24 at Hume Springs Park, 100 Dale St. The work includes installation of new playground equipment, replacement fencing, outdoor fitness equipment, seating areas, water fountain, and gardens. Weather permitting the work is anticipated to take approximately seven weeks. During this period, the park will be closed. For a list of alternate playground sites click here.
