[Archived] Police Investigate Shooting on First Street

The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred in the 1000 block of First Street on Saturday, August 1, 2015. 

At approximately 10:14 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, a 31 year-old male non-City resident, suffering from injuries to the lower body. He was transported to a local hospital. The victim’s injuries were identified as several non-life-threatening gunshot wounds at the hospital. The investigation is ongoing.
