Park and Recreation Commission to Hold Public Hearing on a Recommendation for Programming of the New Patrick Henry Recreation Center on June 18

For Immediate Release: June 12, 2015

The Alexandria Park and Recreation Commission will hold a public hearing on the staff recommendation for the programming alternative for the new Patrick Henry Recreation Center on Thursday, June 18, 7 p.m., at the Patrick Henry Recreation Center, 4625 Taney Ave. After discussion on the staff recommendation, the Commission will hear comments from the public. 

The public has the opportunity to provide comment online through June 15 by clicking here. The staff recommendation will be posted on the Patrick Henry Recreation Center project website Tuesday, June 16. This public hearing is an opportunity for the community to comment on the staff recommendation. 

Individuals who are unable to attend the public hearing may send written comments. Comments may be submitted until 5 p.m. on June 17, via email to laura.durham@alexandriava.gov or via postal mail to 1108 Jefferson Street, Alexandria, VA 22314.
