[Archived] Playground Improvements to Begin at Fort Ward Park

For Immediate Release: June 12, 2015

The Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities will begin playground improvements at Fort Ward Park during the week of June 13. Improvements include cleaning of equipment, mulching, and general repairs to ensure safety compliance is maintained.

Weather depending, work will be completed in early July. The playground will be closed during improvement activities. Click here for a complete list of alternative playground locations.
