[Archived] Parking Lot Restriping Scheduled at Chinquapin Park

The City of Alexandria’s Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities is restriping ADA parking spaces in Chinquapin Park, 3210 King Street. The work includes restriping parking spaces in the parking lots south and east of the recreation center and at the picnic shelter. The lots will be open for patrons, but specific areas to be restriped will be blocked off.

Work is scheduled to take place on May 7 with a rain date of May 8. This type of work is temperature and moisture sensitive and may be rescheduled due to weather. Park users will see equipment in use and crews at work during the daytime. For your safety, please use extra caution when moving around the site.
