[Archived] City of Alexandria Seeks Proposals from Non-Profit Organizations for Management Lease

For Immediate Release: April 21, 2015

The Department of Recreation, Parks, and Cultural Activities is seeking proposals for a five-year management lease on The Conservatory Center at Four Mile Run Park, located at 4109-4125 Mt. Vernon Ave. Applicants must be non-profit organizations who would operate the facility as a community center with no impact to the existing uses of the facility and grounds.  A community center is defined as a localized base for a non-profit organization(s) to provide private and public group activity rentals, social support, public information, and similar community-oriented programs, events, and functions. Offers must be received no later than 3 p.m. on May 22, 2015.
