Potomac Yard Metro Implementation Work Group Meeting & Community Open House – Tuesday, March 31

The public is invited to the Potomac Yard Metrorail Implementation Work Group (PYMIG) meeting scheduled for Tuesday, March 31 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in City Council Chambers located in City Hall at 301 King Street. There will be an Open House prior to the meeting from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Workroom, also located in City Hall.

The meeting will include an overview of the analysis of potential environmental impacts described in the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS), which has been approved for release by the Federal Transit Administration and the National Park Service.  The document will be available on the project website at alexandriava.gov/PotomacYard, as well as several other locations throughout the City; check online for a complete schedule.

Comments can be submitted at any time throughout the EIS process to comments@potomacyardmetro.com.  Comments submitted between April 3 and May 18 will be responded to in the Final EIS..
