[Archived] Police Make Arrest in Robbery at 7-11 on Kenmore Avenue

The Police Department has made an arrest in a robbery that occurred at the 7-11 convenience store located in the 4600 block of Kenmore Avenue on December 11, 2014.
 
Christopher Wright, 30, of Washington D.C., was arrested on March 18, 2015, for Robbery. He is currently awaiting extradition from Washington D.C.

Around 8:30 p.m., the suspect approached the checkout counter and handed the clerk money for several items. When the register opened, the suspect jumped up onto the counter and struggled with the clerk before grabbing cash from the register drawer. The suspect then fled the scene. The female clerk was not injured.
