[Archived] Route 1 Traffic Detour Begins Sunday, March 15

Starting Sunday, March 15, Dominion Virginia Power work crews will be performing underground repair and replacement work that will require temporary lane closures along Route 1. The work will begin at 9 p.m. and end at 4:30 a.m. each day, Sunday through Thursday, until completion, which is expected to be the last week of April.  Both northbound lanes of Route 1 will be closed to traffic and detoured through the Bus Rapid Transitway (BRT) lanes.
