Police Make Arrest in Malicious Wounding
The
Alexandria Police Department has arrested Horace White, 52, of Washington,
D.C., in connection to the Malicious Wounding that occurred in the 400 block of
Jackson Place on January 9. White is charged with two counts of Abduction, two
counts of Robbery, Burglary, Malicious Wounding, and Carjacking.
Around 4 p.m., police responded to a residence for the report of a stabbing. An elderly couple had entered their home and interrupted a burglary. The victim, an 84-year-old man, was stabbed by the suspect. The victim was transported to the hospital.
In cooperation with the Metro Transit Police Department, detectives conducted a thorough investigation and arrested White earlier this evening.
