[Archived] Police Make Arrest for Possession of a Weapon on School Property

The Alexandria Police Department has arrested a 16 year-old male for Possession of a Weapon on School Property. The juvenile was a student at Bishop Ireton High School.

On the evening of January 5, 2015, police detectives were notified by Bishop Ireton administration of reports about a student who brought a weapon to school that day. A thorough investigation led to the arrest of the juvenile early this afternoon. The juvenile did not make any threats towards any student or the school.
