[Archived] City Hosts 42nd Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Program

Martin Luther King Jr. photoThe City of Alexandria will honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in a community program on Thursday, January 15, at 7:30 p.m.  The program, "Moving the Dream Forward," will be held at the First Christian Church, 2723 King St.  The annual program, presented by the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Planning Committee, will include welcome remarks by Mayor William D. Euille, a keynote address by Alexandria Circuit Court Judge Nolan B. Dawkins, and music by the St. Joseph Catholic Church Gospel Choir.
